1. Obtain your MDE Tracking Number
We are going to get your the Full Risk Reduction Lead Inspection Certificate from the Maryland Department of the Environment.

These are needed for all Maryland Rental Properties built prior to 1978 to certify that the property is safe for each new renter.

Prepare Your Property for Inspection
Your inspection consists of 2 parts:
(1) A visual inspection of the outside of your house​
Make sure all paint is intact on your property: no chipping, peeling or flaking paint. This includes structures such as sheds and garages within 75 feet of the main residence

(2) Dust sample collections from each room on the inside of your house.
Whenever possible, mop the floors and wipe windowsills in the residence
